All event proceeds benefit United Way's Family & Neighborhood Resource Centers.

United Way Family Neighborhood Resource Centers (FRNCs) provide one-stop, coordinated services to individuals and families-in-crisis at 5 locations across the Capital Region.  These 5 locations are within each of United Way’s covered counties, with the exception of recently added Columbia and Greene counties.  In 2020, United Way is looking to expand FNRCs to those counties.

United Way Family Neighborhood Resource Centers (FRNCs) provide health, education and economic mobility services for the purpose of empowering families to be self-sufficient in five locations across the Capital Region.

FNRCs are designed to reflect and be responsive to the needs of the communities and populations that they serve. FRNCs offer community residents coordinated service provision, multi-generational family supports and tools for economic success.

Building resilience, social connections, knowledge of parenting and child development, and social / emotional competence within families are among the protective factors FNRCs embed in communities.
