Together, we can build a more just and equitable society.

Our organization is founded in the belief that we all do better when we are United.  The forces working to drive us apart are strong, but our resolve as a community is stronger.

To the people who took to the streets throughout the Capital Region this weekend – we see you and we hear you.  We are committed to amplifying and sustaining your message that overt racism will not be tolerated and to confront and dismantle the inequities of systemic racism we see every day in health, education and opportunity. All of us with influence have an obligation to lend our voices to the fight for equity and inclusion – not only in the wake of a tragic murder of a Black man like George Floyd – but every single day we show up. Together, we can build a more just and equitable society.

In order for us to do this, we must allow ourselves to be vulnerable and uncomfortable because growth has never come from anything else.
