Can you take the familiar saying and make it a reality?
What do local children and teens that receive a free or reduced lunch during the school year have during the summer?
Local agencies like CAPTAIN Community Human Services, the Troy Boys and Girls Club, Summer Community Ministries (SICM), the Regional Food Bank, RISSE (Refugee and Imigrant Support Services of Emmaus), Rensselaer Department of Youth and the Albany Housing Authority partner with NYS Department of Education and Hunger Solutions to reach the nearly 42,000 children eligible to participate!
Hunger doesn’t go on vacation.
