Free Rides Offered From 8 a.m.-6 p.m. in Albany, Rensselaer, Saratoga and Schenectady Counties.
Albany, NY – United Way of the Greater Capital Region and Falcon Club, the region’s safest and most reliable car service, are partnering to provide free rides to the polls on Election Day, Tuesday, November 3, in Albany, Rensselaer, Saratoga and Schenectady Counties.
Free rides will be offered from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. and must be booked by noon on Monday, November 2 by downloading the Falcon Club app in the Apple App Store or Google Play marketplace (links below). Upon requesting a ride and inputting their desired time and pick-up and drop-off locations, users may input the code “UNITED” to get their free ride.
“We encourage all registered voters to have a plan. Find your polling place, decide when you will vote, and plan how you will get there. Elections are determined by the people who show up, and this service will help ensure that transportation is not a barrier for voters in in the Capital Region,” said Peter Gannon, President & CEO at United Way of the Greater Capital Region.

Since the pandemic began, drivers and passengers wear masks during their rides and vehicles are cleaned both to start the day and between rides. Falcon Club rides start at $1.50 per minute and riders can easily book their trips via the Falcon Club mobile app.
