Meet Our New 2020 Board Members

Rachel Bailey, Communications Workers of America Local 1118

Rachel Bailey represents the local bargaining unit in her role as a Business Agent with Communications Works of America Local 1118. She handles all activities related to membership and employment issues including trainings and managing union activities. She has been with the Union since 2001. 

Marcia Cognetta, Ayco

Marcia Cognetta, Vice President of Office of Corporate Engagement, oversees corporate giving and philanthropy efforts at Ayco, A Goldman Sachs Company. In her current role, she plans, designs, directs and collaboratively executes all aspects of events and provides consulting and oversight for regional events.  

Charles Day, Albany Medical Center

Charles Day is an expert in the analysis and coordination of executive level law enforcement and security, and has extensive knowledge of modern police practices and methods. He serves as Vice President of Security Services at Albany Medical Center where he has worked since 2011. 

Selica Grant, NYS Department of Labor

Selica Grant oversees the office of Ethics and Compliance as Chief Risk Officer & Special Counsel at the New York State Department of Labor. She works collaboratively with the General Counsel, the Internal Control Officer, the Internal Audit Officer, and others who have primary risk responsibilities within the agency.
 

Kylie Marine, GE Corporate

Kylie Marine is an Executive Human Resources Leader with General Electric.  She has 17 years of dedicated service to GE and has held positions supporting businesses in GE Power and GE Corporate.  Her current role provides strategic HR leadership for GE Global Operations, GE’s shared services organization serving all GE Businesses on a global scale.   

 

Alfredo Medina, University at Albany

Alfredo Medina, Jr. directs the Office for Public Engagement, overseeing all matters and activities related to public engagement. Dr. Medina joined the University at Albany in February 2015 as special adviser for educational engagement at the Capital South Campus Center. 

Samuel Trimboli, Golub Corporation

Sam Trimboli is a business strategist who draws on his experience in consumer and market research, retail management, digital marketing, ecommerce, and customer service to drive results. His experience in different consumer-facing roles has given him a unique perspective that enables him to be an advocate for customers and his teammates on the frontlines. He is a Project Manager of Consumer Insights at Price Chopper & Market 32. 
 

Andrew Willette, Hannaford

Andrew Willette serves as Director of Operations at Hannaford and has been with the company for 24 years. He uses his retail leadership knowledge to better deliver strategy execution for Hannaford’s customers.  He is a highly analytical leader who is known as a progressive problem solver in tune with today’s retail issues.
