Trishna Doroski joined United Way of the Greater Capital Region in August of 2025 as the organization's Director of Strategic Communications and Community Engagement. Trishna leads the communications department in highlighting important initiatives, sharing compelling stories from the community to showcase United Way's role in sustaining life changing programs that help create healthier communities, more youth opportunities, and strengthen financial security for every individual in the Greater Capital Region.
Trishna also leads the effort to develop a dynamic volunteer experience at United Way through fostering local partnerships and engaging community members with meaningful volunteer opportunities.
Trishna is a two-time Emmy Award winner and Regional Edward R. Murrow recipient. She was formerly an evening anchor and reporter at News10ABC. Trishna received her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Georgia and lives in Latham with her husband and two children.
