CA$H Coalition of the Greater Capital Region to temporarily suspend VITA in-person tax preparation services

March 12, 2020  |  Cassandra Madsen, Director of Strategic Communications, United Way of the Greater Capital Region

After assessing the potential risks associated with COVID-19 to our volunteers and clients, the CA$H Coalition of the Greater Capital Region is suspending in-person tax preparation services at all VITA sites effective close of business Friday, March 13 through March 27.

We will reassess the situation and provide updates as needed and make every attempt to accommodate our clients who depend on this service.

In the meantime, we encourage those eligible to visit United Way’s MyFreeTaxes.com to file. The health of our partners and volunteers is our top priority.
