Keady Van Zandt serves as the Associate Director of Data & Strategic Operations at United Way of the Greater Capital Region. In her role, she oversees administration of data and fundraising systems, ensuring the United Way’s technology infrastructure effectively supports philanthropic growth, strategic planning and community impact.
Before joining United Way, Keady spent several years leading process optimization and systems implementation projects across both the nonprofit and private sectors, developing a deep understanding of how technology can bridge strategy and impact.
Beyond her technical and operational leadership, Keady is committed to advocacy, addressing inequities and driving sustainable systems change. She is also currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in informatics at the University at Albany, where her studies focus on how human-centered technology and data systems can enhance organizational infrastructure and drive social progress.
Outside of work, Keady enjoys art, travel, live music, and exploring outdoors with her dog, Cucamonga. She’s passionate about using technology and data to make a difference, and believes that when we tell stories through information, we can help build more connected and compassionate communities.
