United Way of the Greater Capital Region
For more than 80 years, there have been two United Ways providing community support throughout the Capital Region: United Way of Northeastern New York, which serves the communities of Albany, Saratoga, Rensselaer and Schoharie counties, and United Way of Schenectady County.
The membership of the two United Ways voted to approve the merger into one new organization, United Way of the Greater Capital Region.
This new organization will be marked by a commitment to serving communities defined by common issues, regional collaboration, shared resources, improved lives and a stronger community for all residents of the greater Capital Region
