Samantha Adkisson, Donor Development Manager/Capital Region SEFA Coordinator
Prior to joining United Way, Samantha Adkisson was the Site Supervisor at Social Enterprise and Training (SEAT) Center where she spearheaded the implementation of a new training program and provided direct case management services to youth in the city of Albany. She served in multiple roles at Hope 7 Community Center, finishing her tenure in the role of ED. Samantha loves working directly with youth but felt called to make a broader impact. She is eager to share her passion for the community by engaging with donors and hopes to increase funding to underserved communities.
“Anytime we can add someone of Sam’s caliber, it’s a great opportunity for United Way. Sam will be a tremendous asset for us in continuing our efforts throughout the Capital Region,” said Peter Gannon, President & CEO at United Way of the Greater Capital Region.
Samantha received her B.A. in Business Administration from the State University of New York at Albany.
