"We bought this house 50 years ago.  We love it here, it's very comfortable for us, and now we are retired and things are a little tight. As you get older, it’s very hard to do it yourself"

-Joan, East Greenbush

Joan and her husband have lived in their home for 50 years. Like many retired seniors and people with disabilities, she struggles when a repair is needed in the home. The “Mini-Repair” program helps neighbors in need by providing the labor free of charge for minor repair work. The only cost is materials. Repairs are completed by RCHR trained and reliable staff and include plumbing, electrical, routine maintenance, security, storms/screens, etc. In addition to helping seniors and people with disabilities stay in their homes, it also helps neighborhoods retain property values.
