The CA$H Coalition of the Capital Region

is a collaboration of more than 90 local business, non-profit and government leaders of which the United Way of the Greater Capital Region is a proud funder and partner.

In the most recently completed tax season, we accomplished the following:

Over 11,800 taxpayers served, including 1,060 individuals with disabilities
$19.8 million in refunds
$6 million in EITC refunds
$2.9 million saved in preparation fees

This was accomplished due to the outstanding coalition and due to the tireless work of 237 volunteers who provided over 8,000 hours of services.

But there is more work to do!

We are in need of support to increase the number of sites, to increase the program’s awareness and to ensure more taxpayers can be served.
