- Income support and employment issues including job searches, job training, and unemployment insurance
2-1-1 Northeast Region operations are funded by United Way of the Greater Capital Region and NYS Office of Children and Family Services.
United Way of the Greater Capital Region relies on financial contributions from our community to keep the service operating. We do not charge callers or web users to use our service.
It is open 24-hours a day, 7 days a week, in a 12 county area: Albany, Columbia, Fulton, Greene, Hamilton, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Schoharie, Warren & Washington.
Last year we answered over 17,000 phone calls and 85,000 web inquiries from neighbors in need.
