YOUNG LEADERS at THE CITY MISSION OF SCHENECTADY DINNER SERVICE

The City Mission of Schenectady holds dinner every evening for its residents and community members. Young Leaders volunteered to serve dinner to the community and saw first-hand how the residents of Schenectady rely on and appreciate the resources that The Mission offer to them. This was a wonderful evening of interacting with and serving the community. We thank The Mission for offering this opportunity to Young Leaders.

YOUNG LEADERS at THE CITY MISSION OF SCHENECTADY TOUR

The City Mission of Schenectady hosted Young Leaders for a wonderful dinner and an inspiring interactive tour and discussion. Our hosts, Executive Director, Mike Saccocio (second from the left), and Director of Development, Liz Chamberlain (far right) are seen here with the Young Leaders who attended the event.

Our tour and discussion included the housing facility for women and children...

...and the dining facility...

Young Leaders had a tremendous experience learning about poverty, homelessness, basic needs and community resources in our region. We were inspired by the work done at The Mission as well as the fabulous staff who are committed to making a difference in people's lives and truly creating systems changes and lasting positive community impact.
