YL ONGOING INVOLVEMENT

United Way Young Leaders visit local agencies and programs to see first hand the root causes of issues, how we are working to make positive impacts and how Young Leaders can lead change. The following months activity is a group volunteer opportunity based on the issue area we learned about at our previous months event.

Below are some ongoing opportunities offered by the agencies and programs that Young Leaders have been involved with. If you are interested in continuing your involvement with any of these organizations beyond Young Leaders, please feel free to do so. The City Mission of Schenectady
Toiletry Drive
There is ALWAYS a need for personal care and hygiene items for men and women. This includes soap, deodorant, feminine products, diapers, wipes, infant care supplies, towels, washcloths, pillows, pillow cases. These items are used in the shelters.
