New York Independent System Operator was presented with the Community Care Impact Award, for extraordinarly contributions to United Way's Community Care Fund. Receiving the award is Steve Whitley, President and CEO.
Electric Boat was presented with the Special Recognition award for significantly increasing its annual total dollars raised.
New York State United Teachers received the Labor Appreciation award for exceptional generosity by a labor organization. Receiving the award are Debbie Reles and Theresa Kurdt.
YNN (formerly Capital News 9) and the Capital District Radio Association received the Media Partners of Distinction award for advancing the LIVE UNITED message and publicizing United Way's 2-1-1 initiative. United Way of the Greater Capital Region could not achieve communitywide impact without its corporate supporters.
