United Way of the Greater Capital Region believes that to truly improve lives in our region we must act collectively to impact the critical issues affecting residents of all of our communities. We are committed to bringing together partners across all sectors in order to address community concerns and identify the underlying issues related to pressing community problems.

To bring about change on a scale that truly matters, we mobilize the commitment of an outstanding array of partners: individual donors, volunteers, organized labor, business, government, advocacy groups, non-profit agencies and others. These collaborating organizations and individuals multiply our impact and help United Way tackle regional issues on a local level that touches individuals, families and neighborhoods, from Albany to Schenectady, Troy to Saratoga, Mechanicville to Schoharie and every community in between.
