United Way's Legacy Society

Legacy GivingThe Legacy Society of United Way of the Greater Capital Region was established in 2010 and honors those who have chosen to shape their legacies through planned gifts from their estates. Legacy gifts can be made through bequests, life insurance, charitable trusts, life income arrangements and retirement assets. The Legacy Society celebrates those who endow their giving spirit and memory in perpetuity. We are grateful to those who have made a commitment to invest in a strong community and secure a bright future for tomorrow.

Robert Ludwig"I have been a part of this community for a long time and have seen first hand how United Way has helped us to build a better, stronger community. If United Way is important to you during your lifetime, estate planning enables you to continue to support the organization and its mission. I will have the satisfaction of knowing I am taking care of what is important to me. You simply cannot take it with you. Giving now helps our community grow stronger. Planned giving helps us plant seeds for the future after we are gone. No gift is too small or too large." - Robert J. Ludwig, late Charter Member
