United Way Leadership Giving

Being a leader means setting an example for others to follow. Members of our Leadership Giving societies generously invest in United Way as their partner for achieving powerful results measured in changed lives and transformed communities.

United Way of the Greater Capital Region recognizes our region's philanthropic leaders through several giving societies that offer special benefits including recognition, networking, reports on the impact of their investment and more. Our Leadership giving societies include

• Tocqueville for individuals who contribute $10,000 or more annually
  Benefits include those listed for the groups below plus | pair of complimentary tickets to United Way of the Greater Capital Region's Campaign Breakfast | pair of complementary tickets to United Way's Annual Meeting | Invitation to annual Tocqueville reception / dinner | listing in national Tocqueville Directory, plus complimentary copy 

• Pillars Society for individuals who contribute $7,500 to $9,999
  Benefits include those listed for the groups below plus | complimentary ticket to United Way of he Greater Capital Region's Campaign Breakfast |  complimentary ticket to United Way's Annual Meeting 

• Keystone Society for individuals who contribute $5,000 to $7,499
  Benefits include those listed for the groups below plus | Invitation to annual Leadership Giving educational event | Leadership Giving e-newsletter | one complementary ticket to United Way of the Greater Capital Region's Annual Campaign Breakfast | discounted opportunities for local memberships and events 

• Capital Society for individuals who contribute $1,000 to $4,499
  Benefits include listing in United Way of the Greater Capital Region's Leadership Directory | mailed copy of directory | listing in United Way's Annual Report | listing on Leadership Giving web page 

• Capital Society for Retirees, for individuals who contribute $500 or more

• Young Leaders for givers age 40 and under who contribute $500 or more
