Branding Guidelines
Quick Company Reference Version - 2009
Our Name
Our name should always be listed exactly as United Way of the Greater Capital Region. The only acceptable abbreviation of this is “UWGCR.” If creating a letter or other piece, please be sure to say “United Way of the Greater Capital Region (UWGCR)" before using the abbreviation alone.
Logo Usage
Logos should be included on all materials. They must be added to documents when you are not using letterhead or one of the templates provided by United Way. You can find logos here. Logos need to be on the right of your document. It does not matter if they are placed at the top or the bottom - as long as they appear on the right.
Localization
Localization means including our name with the plain United Way logo. Please use the United Way of the Greater Capital Region full color logo provided in the “Logos” section of the website when localizing a United Way campaign piece.
Fonts
Our main font for letters, e-mail, presentations, etc. is Arial. Use your own judgment on font size.
Colors
United Way has official brand colors for the design of all materials. For example, United Way Blue should be used as the main color, in addition to black, for flyers, inserts, etc. The next in line for use in presentations and other materials would be United Way Red, followed by United Way Light Blue. To get the exact color values in RGB and CMYK and more information on their usage, please contact us.
